Gas for Chris, LLC
I was one of eight children born from parents Dr. and Mrs. Theophil Sutton. My father’s parents immigrated from Poland and my father changed his name so his patients would be able to pronounce it.
I attended St. Johns grade school where I was an A student and a successful athlete. I won two national AAU wrestling titles by age 14. I went to St. Francis de Sales high school where I earned a 3.9 GPA and earned All-State honors twice. I did all my medical training at THE Ohio State University and graduated with a BS in Zoology and my MD after only six years. I finished my anesthesia residency at Ohio State University hospitals and worked at Riverside Methodist hospital in Columbus, Ohio for 16 years. Riverside is an all inclusive hospital with over 1000 beds. I retrained into Pediatric Anesthesia at Nationwide Childrens hospital in Columbus, and worked there as a cardiac anesthesiologist for eight years. I moved to St. Pete in 2011, and worked at Tampa General then All Childrens hospital for eight years as well. I practiced both general and cardiac anesthesia there.I joined several physicians who left Johns Hopkins All Childrens hospital in 2017 in the wake of the negative consequences that a few administrators dealt to the cardiac surgery program. Johns Hopkins quickly terminated the administrators and I am happy to report that All Childrens is as vibrant as ever led by the world renowned surgeon, Dr. Jim Quintessenza.I have been working at various surgery centers over the past three years as well as Blake Medical Center. I hope to return to serving at an all-inclusive peds hospital in the southeast.
I am a proud father of four children and enjoy six grandbabies so far. I am an avid golfer and belong to St. Peter CC and Brookside CC in Columbus.
I love doing medical mission work and have served in Honduras five times, Ecuador, and Costa Rica. I Speak reasonable Spanish to facilitate this.
One should always dream and My long-term goals include starting my own mission organization and attempting to build a Childrens hospital in north St. Pete. We are naming the hospital The Sutton Clinic of Tampa Bay. Our motto is Have Faith in God and our medical providers. We will be located on Ulmerton Rd. just off of I-275.
I am now a member at Pinellas Community Church, and they will be an integral element of our undertaking. I am writing an autobiography, Smiles and Heartaches, that will be released this summer.
I want to give back to the residents of the Tampa Bay area and honor God with it. He has given me all the tools to succeed. My life is so BLESSED.
May God Bless all the children and adults during this pandemic crisis and beyond.
All my love, Chris.
PS I am single.
