Premier Ob/Gyn of Tampa

Dr. Michael Pammit joined one of the most respected Ob/Gyn private practices in Tampa, Premier Ob/Gyn, in 2017. He has very much enjoyed living in Tampa and embraced it as home. Prior to relocating, he was part of a thriving private practice in Saginaw, Michigan. Dr. Pammit was born and raised in Corpus Christi, Texas, and graduated Valedictorian of Corpus Christi Academy Catholic School. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree with Honors from the University of Texas at San Antonio, and soon thereafter, began research in the field of immunology leading to several journal publications. Dr. Pammit subsequently attended St. Matthews University School of Medicine where he developed a passion for the technical precision of surgery, obstetrics and primary care/ women’s health. Perseverance in this learning experience ultimately led to his calling in the field of obstetrics and gynecology. He then pursued his residency training in Saginaw which was completed in 2015. During this time, he was also recognized as the Junior Resident of the year in 2013 and served as Chief Resident.

Although Dr. Pammit practices in the broad field of general obstetrics and gynecology, he has a focus in minimally invasive and robotic surgery, vaginal and pelvic reconstruction, with keen interest in endometriosis and pelvic pain, infertility, and uro-gynecology. However, the heart and soul of his practice does remain in the care of both high and low risk obstetrical patients. He puts an emphasis on treating all his patients as if they were family while giving them unparalleled care and evidence-based treatment. Dr. Pammit is also bilingual, speaking both English and Spanish.

In his free time, Dr. Pammit enjoys spending time with his family soaking up everything the sunshine state has to offer, specifically in the Tampa Bay area. He also enjoys live sporting events, live music,  traveling, as well as CrossFit training.

Since joining Premier Ob/Gyn in 2017, Dr. Pammit has enjoyed the unique, close-knit work environment that the group shares. He relishes Premier Ob/Gyn’s status as one of the few independent groups in Tampa where he sees a diverse population of patients in 2 office locations. He attributes his success to the group as a whole as they all share the same selfless approach when dealing with patients. Dr. Pammit works intimately with colleagues Dr. Wilfredo Herrera, Dr. Luciano Martinez, Dr. Mark Davis, and Dr. Jiten Patel to serve the Tampa Bay region and provide an unmatched level of compassion and professional care.
