Dr. Navarro is Board Certified in Nephrology he is partner of Renal Hypertension Center a multi nephrology group Joint Commission Certified. Dr Navarro has been practicing Nephrology and Hypertension for 25 years. He is the Chief of Nephrology section for St Joseph’s Hospital , he is also medical director for Fresenius Kidney Care North Florida. He completed his Nephrology fellow ship at the University of Miami, Internal Medicine New York Medical College – Metropolitan Hospital and Doctor of Medicine from Universidad CETEC, Dominican Republic in 1983.

Dr. Navarro is a published physician, well recognized in the community as an expert in Nephrology and Hypertension receiving 2018’s top rank in “Tampa Bay’s Annual Top Doctors.” Dr. Navarro has worked in clinical research since 1992. He is the Medical Director and President of Genesis Clinical Research and has served as Principal Investigator on over 200 studies. Dr. Navarro oversees all research activities at Genesis Clinical Research. He mentors new investigators and fosters new relationships with physicians interested in becoming investigator. Dr. Navarro maintains certification in Good Clinical Practice and the Protection of Human Subjects.
