Internal Medicine Specialist

Dr. Gulab Sher attended the historical Edwards College Peshawar achieving many awards including “College Honor Tie” that was handed over to him by the Governor of the Province and tied around his neck by his principal Dr. Timothy Wolmer. In 1985, he completed his pre-medical and went on to Medical School. Dr. Sher graduated in 1991 from one of the best medical school (Khyber Medical, university of Peshawar) of Pakistan. After internships and training, Dr. Sher went to London, UK. There he studied and worked at University of London at Royal Postgraduate Medical School, Hammersmith hospital (now called Imperial College of Science) and Eagling’s hospital. During this time Dr. Sher received Diploma Internal Medicine with Distinction from university of London. Dr. Sher completed his residency in Internal medicine at Michigan State University from 1997-2000 achieving many awards including “Farrehi Award for Academic Achievement”.

Dr. Sher has Internal Medicine training with focus practice in hospital medicine. He has been providing care for those patients who either have no primary care doctors or their doctors cannot or do not come to the hospital.

Dr. Sher has been working and coordinating patient care with a number of hospitals and many physicians for 16 years in the area. He has served and still is serving as a member of different committees to improve patient care delivery.

Dr. Sher’s personal passion in the health care is improving patient experience, patient safety, and quality care. In personal life, doing fun projects with his younger son and holding intellectual conversations with his older son.
