Women’s Care Florida

The mission of Women’s Care Florida is to improve the health of women every single day.  Board certified obstetricians and gynecologists Drs. Amoroso, Sosna, Kapitz, Gonzalez and Mitchell are the women partners of Bay Area OB/Gyn, a practice within Women’s Care Florida with locations in Tampa, Brandon, and Sun City/Ruskin.  They recently welcomed Dr. Fabio Ferrari into their practice in 2021.  Dr. Ferrari comes to us from Manhattan, where he was caring for patients at Bellevue Hospital.  He also held the position of assistant professor for OB/GYN and was appointed the director of medical student education at NYU Grossman School of Medicine.  They are thrilled to have Dr. Ferrari return to the Bay Area.  

The doctors all trained at excellent programs throughout the country to provide the highest standard of quality care to their patients.  They provide comprehensive and compassionate OB/GYN services and are dedicated to providing outstanding and personalized care.  They treat women from adolescence to seniors with care including prenatal care, individualized management,  contraception, infertility treatment, management of menopause, pelvic prolapse, incontinence, and other conditions.  They perform office and hospital surgeries including minimally invasive hysterectomy, uterine ablations, and other up to date techniques.  

The physicians are all approachable and empathetic and understand the importance of having a trusted doctor by your side.  They are sensitive to the intimate nature of women’s issues and enjoy contributing to the special moments in their patient’s lives.  These doctors are passionate about what they do and love the lasting relationships they form with their patients and families.
