Countryside Oaks Dental, began seeing its first patients in 1985, and the values of honesty, integrity and compassion became the hallmark of our practice. Countryside Oaks Dental has served the community offering high quality dental care for over 35 years, including general dentistry and prosthodontic services.
For the last 35 years, Countryside Oaks Dental has been considered one of the best dental practices in the Tampa Bay area by many in the community including other dentists. Our practice management approach is based on the prestigious Pride-Spear Institute management model. Our practice team including “Dr. C,” as many patients affectionately call Dr. Castellanos, work together to create a wonderful experience for our patients. We are honored and pleased to be the dental home for many patients including practicing and retired dentists in the area. We are the dental home for many physicians and their families as well.
“Dr. C” has over 20 years of experience as a dental professional. He completed his first residency program at the University of North Carolina (UNC) at Chapel Hill. He also completed a fellowship in Dental Implants at the Triangle Implant Center, an institution affiliated with Duke University. After, almost 10 years of working as a general dentist and being a faculty member at UNC, Dr. C decided to pursue advanced training to obtain a Masters degree in Prosthodontics at the University of Florida (UF).
Dr. C was a full-time professor at the University of Florida (UF), teaching dental students as well as graduate level dental students. During his tenure as a professor he was the director of many courses, published several journal articles and co-authored a book about dentistry. Currently, he lectures in several study clubs and has been invited to lecture at national and international dental conferences.
The team at Countryside Oaks is nothing short of amazing. Our hygienist Marcia has more than 20 years of experience including working with two well-respected Periodontists in the area. She provides top-notch cleanings and dental hygiene to all our patients. Our patient treatment coordinators, Jodi, Nicolle, and Debbie always take great care of our patients with their impeccable professionalism and kindness. Our experienced dental assistants have a true passion for dentistry and excellence, Franki has over ten years of experience and Terri has more than 46 years of experience.
