Dr. Parul Aneja is a board certified Infectious disease Doctor with her own practice, Infectious Disease Consultants of West Florida, based in the Greater Tampa Bay Area, with offices in Tampa and St. Petersburg.

After completing her Medical School in India, she subsequently moved to Chicago, Illinois where she completed her Internal Medicine Residency from the University of Illinois, Chicago, Mercy Hospital in 2008 and her Infectious Disease Fellowship from Rosalind Franklin University in 2010.

She has also graduated from the Adventist CTI Physician Leadership Fellowship in 2018 and the Baycare Physician Leadership Program in 2020.

She leads and actively participates in several quality initiatives and committees.

Dr. Aneja is known for her excellent fund of knowledge and her caring and compassionate approach to patient care has earned her patients’ and colleagues trust and respect.

Her passion for what she does and her love for her specialty has been evident throughout the creation and development of this dynamic private practice with a passion to provide exceptional care to her patients.

Her patients have learnt to expect excellent care, attention to detail and her undoubted personal touch with every encounter.

Before and especially during the COVID pandemic, her clinical and leadership skills have been recognized by those who had the chance to work with her.

Together with her partners, she is excited to see what the future holds as they have personal expectations to continue to practice to the highest standards in Infectious Diseases and grow even more to expand their services in the community.

She is a multi linguist, is fully trained in the Indian classical dance form, Bharatnatyam, and attributes her success and strength to her parents, her husband’s strong support and true partnership, both personally and professionally, her sister’s support and most important to her, her children.
