Bankruptcy, Corporate Restructuring, Creditors’ Rights,
Commercial Litigation and Business Transactions.

Even in the best of times, significant financial setbacks are often an unavoidable reality for corporations and business owners.  For businesses struggling in the current climate of unprecedented disruptions, strategic use of the bankruptcy process provides not only a path to restored profitability, but also a dynamic range of competitive advantages that can significantly enhance a company’s success and market share.

The attorneys at the Iurillo Law Group have nearly fifty years of combined experience in the areas of bankruptcy, corporate reorganization and commercial litigation, and have protected the interests of Tampa Bay companies, professionals and business owners since 1991.

Camille J. Iurillo, Esq. leverages her unique synthesis of commercial litigation, bankruptcy reorganization and corporate transactional experience for the benefit of a wide range of businesses and individuals, including real estate developers and investors, construction contractors, landlords, restaurant owners, manufacturers, defense contractors, “main street” small businesses, law firms and other business professionals.  She is known for her aggressive yet practical advocacy style as well as her ability to successfully handle complex cases involving multiple parties, complex commercial transactions and highly-disputed legal and factual issues.  Ms. Iurillo has been selected as a “Top Lawyer” by Tampa Bay Magazine and named as one of Florida’s Legal Elite by Florida Trend magazine. She is a past president of the St. Petersburg Bar Association and has served on a number of not for profit boards such as the St Petersburg Bar Foundation, Brookwood and other charitable organizations.

Kevin L. Hing, Esq. has extensive experience in business bankruptcy, restructuring and commercial litigation, with particular experience in the area of Chapter 11 corporate reorganization.  He has represented corporate, partnership and individual Chapter 11 debtors, including commercial and manufacturing entities and high-income individuals. He has also successfully guided many of the country’s largest financial institutions as creditors in the Chapter 11 process, maximizing the recovery of their claims, defending them in collection disputes, and prosecuting litigation against debtors to prevent abuses of the bankruptcy system.

In addition to providing their clients with aggressive advocacy as legal counsel, Ms. Iurillo and Mr. Hing are also Florida Supreme Court Certified Mediators who are highly trained and effective at resolving disputes and achieving settlements.

Ms. Iurillo and Mr. Hing also pursue hobbies that enrich not only their personal lives but also the quality of their service to their clients.  Both are musicians (piano and violin, respectively), whose musical training has enhanced their capacity to hear the concerns of their clients, to collaborate creatively, and to provide effective, passionately resonant advocacy for their clients.
