Dr. Lorraine Thorpe is a Toronto native, and board-certified Chiropractic physician, who graduated from The National College of Chiropractic in Lombard, Illinois.

After briefly practicing in Illinois, she moved to sunny St. Petersburg and started Thorpe Chiropractic & Rehab Center in 2001. When she’s not in the clinic, you can find her kiteboarding in one of the best spots in the country, or working out at a local gym. She is a mother to two teenage daughters, who are the most amazing of all the accomplishments in her life!

Dr. Thorpe has been able to create an environment that uses a multidisciplinary approach, which highlights her background in exercise physiology, passion for fitness, corrective therapy and rehabilitation. This approach has played an integral role in the assessment and treatment of many neuro-musculoskeletal conditions.

Dr. Thorpe, along with her highly trained and licensed staff, use experience and timeless methods supported by modern science with all of their patients. A warm, contagious energy mixed with love and compassion can be felt from the minute you enter the facility.

Through the years, Dr. Thorpe has had experience treating a multitude of conditions, including but not limited to headaches, orthopedic conditions, spinal disorders, TMJ issues and many more. She has developed protocols individualized to patients’ needs and specifications. She works closely with other physicians in the community for the benefit of providing the best suited care plan for her patients.

Dr. Thorpe and her team work together to achieve a “whole person approach”. Their goal is to restore their patients’ good health, and send them off feeling better and stronger than they were before their visit.
