Jaime R. Girgenti was born and raised in Tampa, Florida and graduated from Tampa Catholic High School in 1994. After High School, she attended the University of Florida where she obtained her B.S. in Accounting from the Fisher School of Accounting in 1998, as well as her law degree from the Levin College of Law in 2001. Jaime was very active with campus organizations throughout her seven years at the University of Florida. In 1998, she was chosen as a member of Florida Blue Key.

Before transitioning her career into marital and family law, Jaime earned extensive litigation experience working for a large, multi-state defense litigation firm where she practiced commercial and civil litigation in the firm’s Tampa office.

In 2013, after gaining ten years of litigation experience in State and Federal courts, Jaime switched the focus of her career from helping corporations to helping individuals navigate through the many challenges that arise during the divorce process.  Jaime enjoys the diversity of challenges inherent in family law cases, as well as helping and supporting individuals through the most difficult and challenging time in their lives.

Although Jaime can be tough and formidable in a courtroom, she is equally experienced and enjoys helping individuals resolve their case outside of the courtroom through mediation as well as through the Collaborative Divorce Process.

Jaime is very active with the legal profession as well as with charitable organizations in the Tampa Bay area. On the state level, she serves on several committees of the Florida Bar’s Family Law Section, as well as the Sixth Judicial Circuit Judicial Nominating Commission.  She also serves on the Board of Autism Inspired Academy, a school for children with autism in Pinellas county.  Jaime is excited to be working with one of the preeminent  family law firms in the Tampa Bay area, Older, Lundy, Alvarez & Koch.    Jaime works in the firm’s Clearwater office but handles cases all over the Tampa Bay area.

When Jaime is not practicing law or volunteering in her community, she spends her time enjoying the Florida lifestyle with her Husband and two children.
