On March 1, 2002, Connie R. Stephens, P.A. was established.  With more than 28 years of experience with family law litigation and trial work, Connie R. Stephens brings substantive knowledge of current and emerging law trends and significant trial experience to her practice of Family and Marital Law.  She is AV rated by Martindale Hubbell and has been designated by Tampa Bay Magazine as a Top Lawyer / Family Law.    

A skilled Family Law advocate, originally from the Palm Beach and Miami, Florida areas, she has been a zealous advocate for her clients in the Tampa Bay area since 1995.  Her work as an intern for both the state and federal appellate courts, has enhanced her ability to review, apply and analyze the facts to the law, in order to resolve legal issues using new and creative applications that suit each unique family and/or client’s circumstances.  When dispute resolution options do not quell the disruptive waters of divorce strife, that same knowledge, along with her 28 years of trial experience and skills, are utilized to protect and garner the rights being sought by her clients.  In her boutique practice, Ms. Stephens concentrates on the following issues:

Stephens is an advocate for gender neutrality in the application of legal rights and responsibilities.

When Connie is not working, she spends time on a farm with her two dogs, ‘Sadie the Baby’ and ‘Boo the Monster’, in Florida and maintains a residence in Lexington, Kentucky.  As an owner of dogs and an animal lover, she advocates for the rights of animals in dissolution cases.
