The Waldorf Astoria Orlando and Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek are well known for their top-of-the-line restaurants. Started on Sept. 16 and will continue through Nov. 13, 2016, the properties will host their sixth annual Food & Wine Weekend, featuring a delectable menu of events for foodies to enjoy. Guests are welcomed to enjoy nine weekends of exceptional food and wine located right on property.  Food & Wine Weekends are designed to complement the Epcot® International Food & Wine Festival, conveniently located less than one mile from the property.

Led by Food and Beverage Director Jonathan Raz, Waldorf Astoria Orlando and Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek are distinguished for the unique menus offered at all twelve dining venues, featuring mouth-watering tableside preparation and an array of extraordinary pastry innovations.  “We encourage our chefs to develop new approaches to cooking and to be the trend setters of the culinary industry,” Raz says. “Food & Wine Weekends are an opportunity for our guests to see our chefs in action and to sample new, creative cuisine that they will forever connect with the memory of a beloved Waldorf Astoria Orlando and Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek vacation.”

Food & Wine Weekends is the perfect event for those who appreciate exquisite culinary preparations.  Included will be a set of signature guest favorites, such as the eight- flavored macaron bar, traditional Royal Tea and Bar du Chocolat with Champagne tasting.  Guests are also welcome to make reservations to enjoy the four-course tasting dinners at the hotels’ signature award-winning restaurants La Luce and Bull & Bear, or try The Art of Sushi Pairing at Zeta Bar & Sushi Lounge.

Don’t miss out on some of the events highlights such as The Taste of Bull & Bear on Friday and Saturday, 6 – 10pm. Experience an exclusive tasting four-course menu of excellent food and wine pairings prepared by the illustrious chefs of Waldorf Astoria Orlando.  Some of the meals offered are – Romesco Butter Crusted Scallop: Italian Beans & Roasted Chanterelles Ragout, Squid Ink Lace and Carved Beef Filet Rossini with Potato Pave.

The Taste of La Luce will take place on Friday and Saturday, 6 – 11pm.  From the kitchen of La Luce at Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek, enjoy an exclusive four-course menu with recommended wine pairings featuring the best of La Luce such as their Roasted Bell Pepper Tower, Fried Robiola, Black Olive Tapenade and Stuffed Conchiglioni Pasta: Ricotta, Short Rib, Reggiano, Bẻchame.

Another “must” is The Art of Sushi Pairing on Friday and Saturday, 5 – 10pm, Zeta Bar & Sushi Lounge at Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek. Guests will enjoy an exciting epicurean journey at Zeta Bar & Sushi Lounge, exploring perfect pairings of sake and beer with favorite sushi dishes. A few of their dishes include; Tuna Nacho: Seared Ahi Tuna Sashimi, Avocado, Spicy Mayo, Masago, Cilantro, Wasabi Scented Nori Chips. Enjoy Bar du Chocolat and Champagne Tasting Friday and Saturday, 6:30 – 10:30pm, Peacock Alley at Waldorf Astoria Orlando.A delicious selection of à la carte chocolate treats hand-crafted by Waldorf Astoria Orlando’s world-class pastry team. Indulge in treats such as Valhrona Chocolate and Argan Oil Cake, Chocolate Éclair, Chocolate Mille Feuille, Chocolate Ganache in Egg Shell and Coffee Expresso Cake. Is your mouth watering yet?

Why not add some more tasty treats and pay a visit to the Macaron Bar on Friday and Saturday, 6 – 10pm, MYTH Bar at Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek. Whether indulging in a pre or post-dinner treat, visit the Macaron Bar to try an assortment of flavors, hand-made by the resort’s world-class pastry team. Pick your favorite between Mexican Chocolate, Lemon and Raspberry.

Other fun activities to enjoy is the Craft Beer Experience Friday and Saturday at MYTH Bar where local breweries are showcased in this interactive tasting of craft beers. Select weekends. Stop by Royal Tea – A Waldorf Astoria Tradition on Sundays, 2 – 4pm at Peacock Alley at Waldorf Astoria Orlando for exquisite tea sandwiches and house-made pastries while sipping premium hot tea and listening to live piano music.

Astoria After Dark takes place Friday and Saturday, 6 – 10pm at the WA Kids Club and offers a nightly children’s program including dinner and a non-stop roster of fun activities – providing parents some “adult time.”
