Dawn Ericsson, MD is a Board-Certified Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She completed undergraduate studies at Yale University and earned her Medical Degree at State University of New York at Stony Brook. Afforded the opportunity to train with world-renown specialists, she became the first African-American female to graduate from her OB/GYN residency program in New Jersey (St Barnabas Medical Center). Dr. Ericsson relocated to Florida in 2006. Since that time, she has worked with several prominent practices, surgery centers and hospitals in the Tampa Bay Area. She has served patients’ Gynecological needs via hormonal, medicinal and surgical approaches. She has also rendered compassionate Obstetrical care to thousands of expecting mothers, many with high-risk medical conditions. Throughout her career, she has held membership in multiple medical organizations (AMA, FL Medical Assoc, Hillsborough County Medical Assoc, Medical Society of the State of NY, Bay Area Medical Assoc, Student National Medical Assoc) and currently serves her community as a volunteer and philanthropist with several organizations.

In 2015, Dr. Ericsson was honored to be voted Tampa’s #1 Obstetrician/Gynecologist. Several years before, Dr. Ericsson began to pursue therapies that offered non-traditional healthcare modalities. She wanted to incorporate preventative, self-healing, and restorative therapies into patient care. It was paramount to her to evaluate the root cause of patient conditions, such as inflammation, hormone, gut and nutritional imbalances, and lifestyle habits. Thereafter, taking a whole-person approach versus suppressing individual symptoms became key. In 2018, when she joined the team at AgeRejuvenation, she began to fully incorporate this approach and now combines her allopathic knowledge-base with functional medicine therapies.

Dr. Ericsson is certified in hormone replacement therapy for reproductive, sexual, thyroid, adrenal, growth, pituitary, and metabolic hormone issues. Her skillset includes sexual dysfunction procedures (such as vulvar and vaginal Viora, O-shot TM, P-shot [using PRP, stem cell or exosomes]), hormone pellet insertions, scalp/ hair procedures, neuromodulator injections (Botox TM, Xeomin TM), thread lifting, dermal fillers, sclerotherapy, mesotherapy, and laser therapy, to name a few. Dr. Ericsson treats adult men and women, of all ages, and implements FDA-approved medications, study-validated therapies, and various nutrients to optimize anti-aging, body composition, sexual health, hormone, weight, hair, and many other conditions. Her thorough evaluation includes an EKG, a body composition scan, and varied tests for each patient. Testing panels can include hormones, micronutrients, gut testing, food-sensitivity, cortisol, various DNA analyses and a variety of others. Thorough testing and an in-depth review of results is done with each patient. From there, providers prescribe personalized therapies to best-achieve their patient’s goals. Dr Ericsson also stresses the importance of ongoing annual screening and surveillance while patients are under her care.

As AgeRejuvenation’s Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Ericsson partners with 10 other providers (and consults with many community providers), 4 in-house nutritionists, over 70 employees, and she oversees a database of more than 60,000 patients. She and her colleagues pride themselves on their unique, individualized approach – reviewing each patient’s medical history, lifestyle and goals. She strives to provide each patient with the optimal experience. Dr. Ericsson works with the staff to promote their ongoing education about emerging therapies – striving to help patients attain longer, healthier lives at any age!
