Sunit “Dr. Sunny” Srivastava, MD, founded Legacy Health Medical Group in 2011 after receiving his medical education at Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine in Dayton, Ohio, and then training at the University of South Florida via Tampa General Hospital, Moffitt Cancer Center, and James A. Haley Veterans Hospital. From the onset, Legacy Health Medical Group was founded with the goal of excelling as the best practice dedicated solely to facility bound patients including hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, and assisted living facilities. Through the years, Legacy Health Medical Group has become a well-recognized, local leader in providing medical and wound care services to these patients. 

In collaboration with Evara Health, Legacy Health Medical Group is proud to teach resident physicians Hospital Medicine at Morton Plant Hospital in Clearwater, Florida as well as numerous Advanced Practice Registered Nurses throughout the years. Dr. Sunny proudly serves as the medical director of multiple top tier skilled nursing facilities in our community. Dr. Sunny is an American Board of Internal Medicine board certified physician, an accomplished orator, author, and has served as the principal investigator for scientific studies related to dementia and memory disorders. Dr. Sunny has also proudly served as a hospice and palliative care medical director.
