Board-Certified Pediatric Dentist
From the moment she decided at just four years old that she wanted to be a dentist, Dr. Sheva Burton has followed her calling with unwavering dedication. After earning her bachelor’s degree with Honors in Biology from the University of California at Santa Cruz, she pursued her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry. Her passion for helping children led her to complete advanced training in Pediatric Dentistry at Lutheran Medical, Alaska Native Medical Center in Anchorage, Alaska.
With 22 years of experience—15 of those devoted exclusively to pediatrics—Dr. Burton is known for her compassionate care and commitment to creating positive dental experiences for every patient. She proudly serves the Tampa community through her work with Dr. Leon at Tampa TMJ, Dr. Sierra at Kids Smiles Pediatric Dentistry, Dr. Ceino at Happy Kids Pediatric Dentistry and at Li’l Sunshine Smiles Pediatric Dentistry with a fabulous team.
In addition to her clinical career, Dr. Burton has dedicated twenty-five years of service to the United States Air Force, beginning the very day she graduated from dental school. Commissioned as a Captain, she has served in both active duty and active/inactive reserve roles, exemplifying leadership and patriotism throughout her military tenure, now as a Lieutenant Colonel.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Burton cherishes time with her teenage son, a student at Cambridge Christian School in Tampa. Together, they enjoy biking, jogging, scuba diving, and spending time with their pets, friends, and cherished family.
