Being born in London, England and moving to the United States at the age of 12, Dr. Seema Amin completed her Undergraduate and Dental School studies at the University of Florida. Subsequently, she completed an additional year in a General Practice residency and has been in private practice Dentistry ever since. Dentistry has changed over the last decade and it is important to recognize that not all dental practices are the same. With the growing trend of impersonal corporate dental clinics, the caring, human touch is rapidly disappearing and being replaced by a volume-based business brand of less individualized dental care. 

Tarpon Dental’s highly experienced team, along with Dr. Amin, is dedicated to deliver an exceptional level of care with integrity and compassion. They believe it is important to listen to their patient’s wants and needs and to offer all treatment considerations in dentistry today. On the cutting edge of dental advancements in her field, Dr. Amin’s practice embraces all new technology that can improve the quality of care for her patients. Her recent implementation of the state of the art, Itero Scanner is one such example. A complimentary scan is taken on her patients to evaluate their oral health. Simulations for clear aligner therapy are also available so you can see your new smile. In addition, this 3D digital scanner technology has virtually eliminated the need to take messy impressions of your teeth. This new technology also gives us a time lapse to show how your teeth change over the years. 

Over the past 23 years, Dr. Amin has taken countless hours of additional dental education.  She is focused on Cosmetic, Restorative, and Comprehensive Dentistry and wants you to have your best smile forever.  Have you ever considered improving your appearance? Full mouth rehabilitations are Dr. Amin’s passion … she is ready to take on the treatment planning challenge of any smile.  Advanced implant training gives Dr. Amin the knowledge to be able to handle any replacement option as well. Outside of dentistry Dr. Amin enjoys spending time with her husband, a Gastroenterologist in the community, and their two beautiful daughters.  She loves to cook and spend time getting daily exercise.
