Pediatric Dentist

Lack of complimentary dental clinics, children without dental care, adults who cannot afford their dental visit—in Dr. Jackson’s home state, Arkansas, she has seen first-hand these disparities that exist within the United States. Growing up in a state without a dental school, Dr. Jackson is reminded daily of America’s specific need for selfless, fun-filled individuals who possess a steadfast desire to aid children.

Dr. Ratrice Jackson is an accomplished Pediatric Dentist who enjoys continuously providing passionate, altruistic and quality care to children in need.

Dr. Jackson began her educational journey at the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville where she earned her Bachelor of Science. Thereafter, she received her Masters of Health Sciences and Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at Meharry Medical College. Dr. Jackson completed her Pediatric Dental Residency through NYU Langone: Tampa, Florida Site where she worked at Suncoast Community Health Centers, Tampa General Hospital and South Florida Baptist Hospital.

Dr. Jackson has received several awards: The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD) Resident Recognition Award, The National Dental Association Foundation (NDAF) Post-Doctoral Colgate Palmolive Scholarship Award, The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee Scholarship Award, Meharry Medical College School of Dentistry Scholarship Award and Jamaica Awareness Association Mission Trip: Zion Care International. Also, she has been recognized in “The Magazine of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Pediatric Dentistry Today: July PDT 2019” and “NYU Langone Health Special Edition: THE BRIDGE Issue 9, Journal.”

Dr. Jackson has an unceasing appetite for promoting and serving the dental profession. She feels a monumental weight of responsibility to make a difference using her gifts to better serve not only children within her community but also communities abroad. Hence, Dr. Jackson is currently in Dallas, Texas where she has her pediatric dental office practicing under Texas Tiny Teeth Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics!
