“On a Journey from God to Stamp Out Dental Irregularity” has always been Dr. Feldman’s “Mantra” since he started practicing Orthodontics in Tampa Bay, FLA in 1982! 

Randy Feldman, DDS, MS is a native Ohio-an and claims Toledo as his birth place but Columbus as his home. Especially after garnering 3 degrees from “Thee” Ohio State University; a BA in Zoology (’75), Doctor of Dental Surgery (‘78), and Masters of Science in Oral Biology (’82).  Certificates from Ohio State University in Orthodontics and from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in Oral Medicine.

Dr. Feldman’s first practice on Florida Avenue was his “home base” for many years as he became very involved with many activities in his new community. Dr. Feldman led the efforts in fluoridating Hillsborough County’s water supply in 1988.

Dr. Feldman also founded the 13 Ugly Men (’92), and was charter President until 2002. He later moved on to other projects like Tampa North Rotary President, Make-A-Wish Board Chair, Boy Scout Counselor, Champion of Children then became a Guardian Ad Litem of Voices for Children.

Dr. Feldman assisted the Tampa Junior League in starting More Health, Inc. (’89) out of his South Tampa office and was Hillsborough County Dental Association President (’95). Dr. Feldman participated in Leadership Tampa (’82), Leadership Tampa Bay (’92), and Leadership Florida (’95). One of the highlights of his career was having Feldman Orthodontics selected as the Greater Tampa Chamber of Commerce 1997 Small Business of the Year.

Being heavily involved in his practice, he still provided thousands of hours of volunteer care as the Craniofacial Orthodontist for children born with facial birth defects at John’s Hopkins All Children’s Hospital in St. Petersburg for the past thirty-five years.

Dr. Feldman was awarded the Hillsborough County Dental Association Lifetime Achievement Award (’12) and was also recently recognized as the Tampa Bay Lightning Community Hero (’15).
