Dr. T is a highly experienced board-certified anesthesiologist at Tampa General Hospital, where he has been an integral part of the medical community for over 30 years. A graduate of the University of South Florida (USF), he is also a member of Team Health at the Florida Gulf to Bay Anesthesia Team, demonstrating his commitment to excellence in patient care and anesthesia services.

Dr. T’s medical journey began before his move to the United States in 1989. Initially a practicing general surgeon, he decided to transition to anesthesiology, a field where he has since made significant contributions. He began his residency at Tampa General Hospital in 1992 and has remained there, serving in various capacities and consistently enhancing the quality of care provided to patients.

Dr. T’s dedication to his profession is evident in his pursuit of continuous education and specialization. In 1998, he obtained a certification in pain management, broadening his expertise and ability to treat patients with complex pain conditions. To further augment his skills, particularly in the managerial aspects of operating room operations, he earned an MBA from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, in 2006. This combination of medical and business education has made him a valuable asset to the hospital, where he adeptly manages both clinical and administrative responsibilities.

Teaching is another passion for Dr. T. From 2011 to 2013, he shared his knowledge and experience with Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) at the Wolford School of Nursing, contributing to the development of future anesthesia professionals. His dedication to education underscores his commitment to advancing the field of anesthesiology.

Outside of his professional life, Dr. T enjoys spending quality time with his family and engaging in various recreational activities. He loves beach outings, fishing, and has recently started exploring the game of golf. His diverse interests reflect a well-rounded individual who values both personal and professional fulfillment.
