Dr. Priya Nayyar is a double board certified, fellowship trained dermatologist and cosmetic and hair restoration surgeon. Her training background is unique in that it incorporates dermatology, facial plastic surgery, dermatologic surgery and general surgery. Dr. Nayyar stands as the only dermatologic surgeon in the Tampa Bay Area performing hair transplants. Dr. Nayyar’s FUE technique is the most effective, precise, intricate, and undetectable way to permanently restore hair loss. Dr. Nayyar trained in the most demanding cosmetic and surgical environments of New York City. She earned the distinction of being among the first dermatologists in the nation to do a vigorous surgical internship prior to her dermatology residency. This additional surgical training served as a foundation which she further built on during her dermatology residency and fellowship. She went on to complete her fellowship at Mt. Sinai Beth Israel Health System, where she trained in cosmetic surgery, reconstructive plastic surgery, laser surgery, and Mohs micrographic surgery. She is also one of the first in her field to be double board certified in Dermatology and Mohs Surgery.
Dr. Nayyar is a world-renowned expert in hair restoration and has performed over 10,000 dermatologic surgery procedures including hair restoration and Mohs micrographic surgery. She has trained with hair experts from all over the world and is an active member of the International Society for Hair Restorative Surgery (ISHRS).
