University of Florida Dental School Grads Dr. Nilash Patel and Dr. Nitash Patel have been serving the Tampa Bay Community for the past 17 years.  They started Serenity Dental with the goal of creating a family friendly environment for all ages and for all types of dental needs. Through the years, Serenity Dental has surpassed their original vision.   

Dr. Nilash Patel has used his passion for technology to make Serenity Dental one of the most advanced offices in the Tampa Bay area. The implementation of iTero 3D Digital Imaging has allowed our patients to receive Invisalign care and restorative treatments quicker and more accurate than ever before. When receiving an initial complimentary Invisalign consultation, patients can see how their teeth look before and after treatment through a 3D virtual picture. “Patients have loved being able to be part of the process and actually get to twist and turn their 3D image and look at their own teeth from all angles allowing them to give input on what their aesthetic goals are. They also love the idea of knowing exactly what results can be achieved and knowing the exact timeline for their treatment,” added Dr. Nilash. Dr. Nilash has also completed advanced training and been certified by the American Academy of Facial Esthetics.  Noticing a strong demand for cosmetic treatments, Dr. Nilash performs Botox Cosmetic, Botox TMJ, and Xeomin, as well as facial and lip fillers with Juvederm and Belotero Balance. 

Dr. Nitash Patel has complemented his brother’s passions with his own.  After completing a Fellowship in Prosthodontics at the University of Florida, Dr. Nitash has dedicated his efforts to helping patients with some of the most complicated dental issues. “I have found it extremely fulfilling to work with patients that sometimes feel hopeless and place their trust in me to bring that hope back.”  Dr. Nitash has 18 years of experience in Dental Implant Surgery and Prosthetics.  He has been passionate about sharing his knowledge by teaching other dentists who want to learn about implants. Dr. Nitash established the Implant Institute of Tampa, Center for Education & Excellence, with a goal of providing patients with the most advanced treatments available and to create an environment where dentists can come together to learn from each other. 

Dr. Nilash and Nitash have also been very active in community outreach through organizations like FreeDOM Clinic and Mission Smiles, where free dental care is provided to the underserved.  Dental mission trips have included multiple visits to Haiti, Guatamala, Honduras, and Jamaica. “Dentistry has given so much to us that we feel very strongly about our obligation to find ways to give back.”
