Dr. Mark Dawoud, affectionately known as “Dr. Mark” by his patients, is a passionate and dedicated pediatric dentist. Raised in the culturally rich New York Tri-State area, he developed a deep appreciation for diverse perspectives early on. After earning his DMD from Tufts School of Dental Medicine, he completed a residency at NYU Lutheran Medical Center (now NYU Langone Hospital — Brooklyn), where his interest in pediatric dentistry flourished. As chief resident, Dr. Mark gained invaluable experience treating patients from all walks of life, with empathy and expertise.
Currently serving as the Clinical Director for Dental Services at Oak Dental Partners, Dr. Mark leads with a focus on innovation and excellence in pediatric care. He is also the West Coast Representative and a Board Member of the Florida Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, where he advocates for the advancement of pediatric dental practices.
Board-certified in pediatric dentistry, Dr. Mark is uniquely qualified to provide in-office sedation, ensuring his young patients feel comfortable and safe. He is especially committed to serving children with special needs, including those with autism, Down syndrome, and cleft lip and palate. His expertise in laser and hospital dentistry places him at the forefront of his field.
Dr. Mark’s contributions to dentistry have been widely recognized, including being named one of Incisal Edge magazine’s “40 Under 40” in 2019. He remains an active member of several professional organizations, continuously expanding his knowledge and impact.
Outside of work, Dr. Mark treasures time with his wife and three children, exploring Florida’s natural beauty. A dedicated church member, he finds fulfillment in serving both his community and his profession. For Dr. Mark, dentistry is more than a job—it’s a calling to improve the lives of children and their families.
