Dr. Ruth Berry earned her Bachelor of Science in Microbiology and Doctor of Dental Medicine from the University of Florida. Dr. Berry got to experience orthodontics, up close and personal, by having her own orthodontic treatment during dental school. This gave her the insight as to what changes orthodontic treatment could have on an individual. The ability to improve the appearance of someone’s smile and confidence inspired her to continue her education. She completed her training as an Orthodontist at Louisiana State University in New Orleans.

Dr. Berry is committed to treating each of her patients as if they were a member of her own family. Each person receives a treatment plan tailored to their individual wants and needs. She believes in one-on-one patient care and loves getting to know each person as they progress through treatment. The most enjoyable part of Orthodontics is when the braces are removed or the Invisalign is completed and everyone celebrates a new smile.

Part of personalizing a patient’s experience is using appliances which are customized to each person’s teeth. Dr. Berry utilizes LightForce braces, InBrace lingual braces and Invisalign which are all custom made for that particular person’s teeth.  

Having grown up in South Florida and the Florida Keys, Dr. Berry and her husband enjoy boating and fishing when out of the office. You may even find her out in Tampa Bay attempting to master paddle boarding.
