Dr. Kenyon Fort, a highly respected Oral Surgeon and Dental Implant Specialist in St. Petersburg, is a native Floridian with deep roots in the Tampa Bay community. A graduate of Tampa Catholic High School, he went on to earn his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Morehouse College in Atlanta. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from Meharry Medical College, where a General Practice Residency at Hubbard Hospital sparked his passion for Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.

Dr. Fort advanced his training with a four-year residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Harlem Hospital Center in affiliation with the College of Physicians & Surgeons at Columbia University. He then pursued a one-year fellowship in Temporomandibular Joint (TMJ) arthroscopy in Miami, working alongside one of the field’s pioneers.

Since establishing his private practice in 1997, Dr. Fort has been committed to providing the highest standard of surgical care. His expertise spans the full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery, with emphasis on dental implants, bone grafting, and wisdom teeth removal. He is also highly experienced in treating corrective jaw surgery, and facial trauma. He utilizes CT-guided implant procedures to deliver precise and predictable results. A diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Dr. Fort is also certified in  Advanced Cardiac Life Support and holds a general anesthesia permit.

Beyond his practice, Dr. Fort provides comprehensive oral and maxillofacial trauma care for patients at Bayfront Medical Center and mentors aspiring healthcare professionals. He is an active member of numerous professional organizations and proudly affiliated with Omega Psi Phi and Sigma Pi Phi fraternities. Married to dentist Dr. Nathalia Jeffrey-Fort, he enjoys traveling, cycling, and family life with their three adult children and two grandchildren.
