Dr. Kasey L. Cowser, DDS FICOI, better known as “Dr. Kasey”, grew up in Steubenville, Ohio, a small southeastern steel town nestled along the Ohio River.  At a young age, Dr. Kasey had dreams and aspirations to work in a profession where she could and would change people’s lives.

“The day I realized my passion for dentistry I was in high school. I was asked the question – What 3 items would you bring with you if you were stranded on an island? – I quickly responded with toothbrush, toothpaste, and dental floss!”

Dr. Kasey received her Doctor of Dental Surgery from Howard University in Washington DC. She then completed a one-year residency at the University of Toledo Medical Center, Toledo, Ohio. There, her passion grew for more involved cases, advanced procedures, and surgeries.

Dr. Kasey offers a full range of preventive and restorative dental services with attention to improving the esthetics of each smile. She focuses her practice on cosmetic and implant surgeries. In 2019 she earned Fellowship status in The International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI). This Fellowship status is earned through at least 100 hours of additional study, a letter of recommendation from a current member, and proof of at least 20 long-term successful implant placements. Meetings’ attendance and completion of recurring rigorous continuing education requirements are mandatory to maintain the ICOI Fellowship status. In addition, Dr. Kasey holds advanced certifications in injectable Botox & Fillers.

“As a dentist, I believe continuing education is extremely important. With dentistry advancing constantly, I pride myself on staying on top of the most innovative technology and restorative techniques.”

After completing her residency program, Dr. Kasey accepted a position in our beautiful sunshine state of Florida, where she quickly emerged as a top dentist throughout The Villages Community Development Districts. After deciding that Florida is the perfect place for her to raise a family, Dr. Kasey set out to bring her passion, knowledge, and difference to the Tampa Bay metro area. She then put pen to paper and worked countless hours with her devoted support team. As a result, SmileCraft Dental Studio came to fruition.

“We founded SmileCraft Dental Studio because although there may a lot of people out there who fear the dentist, I know that going to the dentist can be enjoyable when the atmosphere is right.”

First and foremost, SmileCraft Dental Studio is a judgment-free and pressure-free environment. As Dr. Kasey puts it, “Our mission is that every patient that crosses through our doors will experience the highest standard of dental care in the most compassionate environment possible”.
