J. Ronald “Ron” Denman is a shareholder and partner at Bleakley Bavol Denman & Grace (BBDG), where he brings extensive courtroom experience in complex commercial litigation in state and federal courts nationwide. A veteran trial attorney with over 100 jury trials, Ron provides a broad range of legal services across multiple practice areas. While he continues to represent individuals and corporations in complex civil litigation, his trust, estate, and guardianship litigation practice has experienced significant growth after securing one of Florida’s highest professional negligence jury verdicts—further establishing BBDG as a vigorous advocate for trustees, beneficiaries, and other interested parties.
Ron began his legal career as a prosecutor in Sarasota before transitioning to products liability, professional liability, and commercial litigation. During a hiatus from law, he led operations for a startup manufacturing and distribution company, ultimately growing annual revenues to $400 million. A Miami native, Ron relocated to Tampa in 2014 to join Bleakley Bavol, where his relentless energy and client-first approach have contributed to the firm’s rapid growth into a full-service law firm.
Ron thrives on the fast-paced, strategic challenges of litigation. His passion and drive fuel his zealous representation of clients, with the ultimate goal of making a meaningful difference for them. He also takes pride in mentoring young attorneys, encouraging them to push beyond their perceived limits and continuously grow in their legal careers.
Ron holds the prestigious Martindale-Hubbell AV® Preeminent™ rating and is admitted to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court and the U.S. District Courts for the Southern, Middle, and Northern Districts of Florida. When not practicing law, he spends his free time keeping up with his family and enjoying the many activities Tampa has to offer.
