For over two decades, Dr. Gregory Lieb has been a trusted name in eye care, serving the Tampa community with unparalleled dedication and expertise. Fascinated by the complexity of the eye and its vital role in daily life, he pursued a career in optometry, further honing his skills through specialized training in ocular disease. His residency at the prestigious Bascom Palmer Eye Institute in Miami provided invaluable experience in diagnosing and treating advanced eye conditions.
A Tampa native, Dr. Lieb’s academic journey began at Tampa Jesuit High School before earning an academic and athletic scholarship to St. Francis University in Pennsylvania, where he competed as a Division I soccer player. He went on to complete his optometry studies at the New England College of Optometry in Boston, followed by an intensive residency at Bascom Palmer, one of the nation’s top ophthalmology institutions.
A Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry and an active member of multiple professional organizations, Dr. Lieb remains at the forefront of advancements in eye care. His ability to connect with patients, blending technical expertise with genuine compassion, sets him apart. His fluency in Spanish and extensive international travel further enhance his ability to serve Tampa Bay’s diverse community.
Beyond his professional achievements, Dr. Lieb is an avid supporter of Tampa Bay sports, an enthusiastic golfer, and enjoys traveling with his wife, Stephanie, and their two sons. His dedication to both his profession and his community continues to make a profound difference in the lives of those he serves.
