Give your body an energy boost and indulge in antioxidants and vitamins; you may even feel like doing an Irish jig! Or use the smoothies to detox your body after the booze fest or bar crawl. (You can even indulge a bit by adding vodka to them…we won’t tell.)
Tropical Green Smoothie
INGREDIENTS
1 to 2 cups frozen spinach
1 cup frozen pineapple chunks
1 cup frozen mango chunks
1 medium ripe banana, peeled, frozen
1 cup your favorite berry
1 cup milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract sweetener, to taste
INSTRUCTIONS
-Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth and creamy. Enjoy!
Strawberry Ginger Zinger
INGREDIENTS
2 cups almond milk
2 cups baby spinach
2 cups strawberries
1 banana (frozen for a cold drink)1 tablespoon grated ginger to taste
INSTRUCTIONS
-Blend the spinach and almond milk until smooth.
-Add the remaining ingredients, and blend until smooth. Enjoy!
Peach Coconut Dream
INGREDIENTS
2 cups fresh spinach
1 cup coconut water, unsweetened
2 cups grapes, frozen
2 peaches
INSTRUCTIONS
-Blend the spinach and coconut water until smooth.
-Add the remaining fruits and blend again. Enjoy!
