Dr. Elizabeth John is an Internist serving the greater Tampa Bay region. With over two and half decades of experience, she has been known for her dedicated and compassionate care for her patients, aged 18 and older. Dr John’s practice focuses on the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of diseases and chronic conditions in adults. She is known for building long-term relationships with her patients and ensuring they receive personalized attention and care.
Born in Washington, DC but grew up in Dade City, Florida, she has a strong connection to the Tampa Bay area, especially in Pasco County. She received her medical degree from Ross University and completed her Internal Medicine residency in Providence, Rhode Island, at Roger Williams Medical Center, where she developed her skills in a wide range of acute and chronic conditions. After completing her three year residency, she joined her father’s practice in Zephyrhills, Florida, in 2000.
Dr. John prioritizes establishing trust and forming a partnership with her patients. She ensures that they receive tailored interventions and treatments for their individual needs. Her approach emphasizes the understanding of her patient’s unique preferences, involving them in decision-making, and customizing care plans to align with their values.
Outside of work, Dr John enjoys spending time with her family, going to church, and baking. She is an avid foodie, who loves finding new restaurants to try in the Tampa Bay area. Her driving passion to care for patients and love for her community, makes her a trusted and beloved physician in her area.
