Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice

I grew up the youngest of 4 children in sunny south Florida, and always knew I wanted to become a veterinarian.  Throughout middle and high school, I volunteered at various veterinary clinics and went to the University of Florida for my undergraduate degree. I followed up my studies at Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences. While there, I was lucky enough to work with all kinds of animals ranging from dogs and cats, to cattle and horses, and even marine mammals and wildlife.

After veterinary school, my family, both two-legged and four-legged, settled in Tampa where I completed a small animal internship and then started working in general practice. While practicing, I was fortunate enough to become aware of how special it was to help owners cope with the hardships in making decisions about their beloved pets’ end of life care. In 2018, I joined Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice and dedicated my life to helping families and their furry family members.

I consider it a true honor to help families find peace with one of the most selfless decisions they will ever make. I have found my passion in life and am blessed to perform good and profound work every single day.
