Elaine McGinnis has been practicing law for twenty years, specializing in estate planning, probate and trust administration. A Florida native from Boca Raton, Elaine graduated from Florida State University in 2000 and Stetson University College of Law in 2003. She has enjoyed living and working in Tampa Bay ever since. She is a member and past co-chair of the RPPTL [Real Property, Probate, and Trust Law] section of the Hillsborough County Bar Association, a member of Hillsborough Association of Women Lawyers and a volunteer lawyer with Bay Area Legal Services. Elaine enjoys being active in the community and volunteering with Feeding Tampa Bay, Metropolitan Ministries, and sponsoring Clothes to Kids.
After administering hundreds of probate estates throughout Florida, and working with thousands of clients locally, Elaine has the knowledge and experience to craft estate plans specific to needs of individual clients. She works with a wide range of individuals and families, including young families who need simple wills, growing and blended families, and clients welcoming grandchildren and retirement.
The Law Office of Elaine McGinnis opened in 2019 and is conveniently located on Dale Mabry just north of Kennedy Boulevard. She offers reasonable flat fees for estate plans and uncontested probate administration. Elaine recognizes the value in developing relationships with her clients and having resources to benefit her clients. She strives to be empathetic, efficient and communicative during a time that is often very difficult for clients and their families. She has been named as a “Super Lawyer”, voted by her peers, for estate planning for the past five years.
Outside of her law practice, Elaine has been married for nineteen years and is a mother to two boys. Her family enjoys spending time with friends, watching college football and traveling.
