Choosing the right dental team is critical to your success in smile restoration. With over 20 years of combined experience in dental implants and full-mouth reconstruction, Drs. Kapetanakos and Caldroney are dedicated to providing exceptional care.
Dr. Melani Kapetanakos is a board-certified Prosthodontist with a passion for restoring smiles. She received her DDS from New York University in 2003 and subsequently earned a Certificate in Prosthodontics in 2007. Dr. Kapetanakos furthered her education with a Maxillofacial Prosthetics Fellowship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.
Dr. Steven Caldroney is a board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon specializing in reconstructive surgery and maxillofacial oncology. He received his DDS from New York University in 2003. After serving in the United States Air Force, he earned his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Certificate from NYU/Bellevue Hospital and went on to receive his MD from NYU School of Medicine. Dr. Caldroney completed a Head and Neck Microvascular Fellowship at the University of Maryland.
Together, Drs. Kapetanakos and Caldroney have contributed to the field through numerous publications and are actively involved with dental and medical outreach programs. They have taught at many esteemed institutions including NYU, The Manhattan VA Hospital, Columbia University, Tufts University, Boston University, and currently at LECOM School of Dental Medicine in Bradenton, Florida.
When they are not restoring smiles, Drs. Melani and Steve are enjoying their time with their two teenage sons.
