Dr. Parenkumar Patel is double board-certified in both internal medicine and nephrology-hypertension. He has been practicing internal medicine for nearly 20 years. He is a well-known primary care physician in the community for his exceptional skill, compassionate patient care, integrative approach to medicine, and ability to diagnose complex conditions. His holistic approach, leadership in clinical research, and knowledge of the latest scientific breakthroughs allow him to offer patients superior care.
Dr. Patel received his medical education in India from the prestigious University of Mumbai. He went on to complete his residency in internal medicine at Jamaica Hospital Medical Center in New York City. He completed a fellowship in nephrology and hypertension at Brookdale University Hospital in Brooklyn, New York. He was chief resident during his internal medicine training.
Currently, Dr. Patel is practicing internal medicine at Wesley Chapel Medical Care and is affiliated with Town N Country Medical Care and Brandon Medical Care.
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Patel enjoys outdoor activities and spending time with his family.
