Dr. Kevin Huguet is the Medical Director and founder of the MIIS Weight Loss Institute, an affiliate of Tampa Bay Surgical Group. Dr. Huguet was born and raised in St. Petersburg, FL. He specializes in advanced laparoscopic surgery and is highly experienced in bariatric surgery. Dr. Huguet earned his medical degree from the University of South Florida College of Medicine in 2001, where he graduated at the top of his class and received a prestigious membership in the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. His internship and residency in general surgery were completed at the Mayo Clinic in 2006. He also completed a fellowship in minimally invasive surgery and bariatric surgery at the Mayo Clinic in 2007.
