Dr. Deric V. Lovett, a Miami native raised in Miramar, Florida, has always had a passion for helping people. Growing up in South Florida’s vibrant, diverse communities shaped his empathy and desire to serve others. In high school, he competed in football, volleyball, and track—experiences that gave him firsthand insight into health, discipline, and recovery. His experience with sports injuries fueled a fascination with the human body and inspired his desire to help others heal.

In 2014, Dr. Lovett began his undergraduate studies at the University of South Florida, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Sciences and graduating summa cum laude. During this time, he discovered a passion for chiropractic care, which led him to pursue his Doctorate in Chiropractic Medicine at the National University of Health Sciences in Pinellas Park, where he graduated as salutatorian in 2021.

Dr. Lovett practices at Advanced Medical of Florida’s Clearwater office, a multidisciplinary clinic where he provides personalized, evidence-based care. His approach emphasizes chiropractic manipulation, functional rehabilitation, and integrative therapies such as decompression and soft tissue techniques—all rooted in his belief in treating patients holistically. Dr. Lovett holds certifications in acupuncture and dry needling and is currently studying to become a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician, motivated by his commitment to lifelong learning.

Outside the clinic, Dr. Lovett mentors high school students through Take Stock in Children and has volunteered with organizations such as Feeding Tampa Bay and Keep Tampa Bay Beautiful. He is also active in the Pinellas County Chiropractic Society, advocating for the profession at both the state and national levels.

In his free time, he enjoys sports, grilling, and spending time with his friends and family. Grounded by his faith in God, Dr. Lovett finds purpose in helping others live healthier lives across the Tampa Bay community and looks forward to expanding his impact.
