For more than two decades, David Murray has built a respected reputation as one of Florida’s leading insurance attorneys representing policyholders in insurance disputes. He has dedicated his legal career to holding insurance companies accountable and ensuring that homeowners, businesses, and condominium associations receive the insurance benefits they’re entitled to. His work is driven by a simple principle: helping people rebuild after unexpected loss and ensuring they’re treated fairly under their insurance policies. David and his team have represented countless Floridians recovering from hurricanes and other property losses, helping them rebuild and move forward when insurance claims are unfairly denied, delayed, or underpaid.
Beyond his legal work, David serves as Chair of the Heart Gallery of Tampa, a nonprofit dedicated to helping foster children find their forever families. Under his leadership, the organization has expanded its reach and deepened its impact across Hillsborough County, growing both the number of children and families it serves and the community programs it supports. The Heart Gallery not only connects children with adoptive families but also raises awareness about foster care and provides essential resources to help these children thrive. David’s involvement reflects his belief that every child deserves stability, hope, and a home.
David also serves as a Guardian ad Litem, personally advocating for abused and neglected children within the foster care system. This hands-on work reflects his conviction that true advocacy extends beyond legal representation. It’s about standing up for those who cannot stand up for themselves.
When he’s not in the courtroom or working with charitable organizations, David enjoys running along Bayshore Boulevard, attending Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Lightning games, boating in Tampa Bay, and spending time with his wife, Kim, and their two children, Finton and Penelope. His passion for justice and community continues to drive every facet of his work, both in law and in life.
