All of Dr. Piper’s dental work is performed with aesthetics in mind, blending science, art, and exceptional dentistry skills to take dental care to a higher level of expertise. Dr. Piper and his team provide preventative, cosmetic and restorative care that ranges from simple cleanings to extensive restorative smile makeovers. Each patient’s treatment plan is individualized to suit their specific needs and situation.

“The two biggest factors preventing someone from accomplishing their goals are usually fear and finances. We address these topics very early on at our initial meeting with a new patient. By listening very carefully to their wants, desires and concerns, we can provide an individualized, tailor-made plan that can overcome those obstacles,” shares Dr. Piper.

Helping patients to look great and feel great has always been Dr. Piper’s primary goal. “My approach to practicing dentistry since 1992 has been to provide the highest quality, gentle dental care in a relaxed and caring environment. Educating patients about the best ways to obtain healthy, beautiful smiles and how to keep them that way is the most important service that we provide to our community. One way we do this is to provide detailed screenings for early diagnosis and prevention of diseases,” says Dr. Piper. “The earlier we catch a potential problem, the easier it is to offer multiple options to resolve that problem.”

Philanthropy and giving back are two core values of the practice. Dr. Piper and his team feel that it is extremely important to volunteer in the community that has been so good to them. As a group, they have helped to build homes with Habitat for Humanity, educated the public at health fairs, and informed students about dental health in local schools during Dental Health Month.

Dr. Piper also volunteers his personal time with Gulf Coast Dental Outreach, Donated Dental Services, and Flying Doctors of America mission trips to provide dental treatment for the less fortunate, locally as well as in impoverished countries. As a huge sports fan, he has volunteered for years to provide dental examinations to the Tampa Bay Rays during their annual Spring Training physicals.

As a native of Pinellas County, Dr. Piper graduated from Boca Ciega High School in Gulfport. He earned a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida in Microbiology and Cell Science and acquired his dental degree from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry. Dr. Piper went on to receive additional hospital based training during his General Practice Residency at Virginia Commonwealth University.

Dr. Piper is a member of the American Dental Association, the Florida Dental Association, the West Coast Dental Association, the American Association of Dental Consultants, and the National Dental Practice-Based Research Network.

Dr. Piper enjoys playing golf and tennis, jogging, traveling, hiking the Appalachian Trail and attending live sporting and music events.
