Dr. Buchanan combines patient-centered care with new age technology to create an upscale, tailor-made experience in Tampa.
Dr. Dallas Buchanan practices a wide range of cosmetic surgery, including breast surgery, facial cosmetic surgery, and body contouring. In addition to his busy cosmetic surgery, he is also renowned for his skills in reconstructive breast surgery for patients diagnosed with breast cancer. He is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS), and an active member of both the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS), and the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (ASAPS). He is also a fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS).
In 2018, Dr. Buchanan and his wife (Michelle Buchanan, APRN) chose to relocate to Tampa Bay to start their own private practice, VIVIFY plastic surgery. Dr. Buchanan prides himself on having established a patient-centered, customized practice which means taking the time to assess each individual patient and review his or her specific goals and objectives before collaborating together with the patient to create a unique treatment plan to deliver the kind of amazing results for which he has become celebrated. Just one look at the number of 5-star reviews shows how many happy patients he treats.
Since starting VIVIFY plastic surgery, Dr. Buchanan has been chosen as a “Top 10 Plastic Surgeon” in Florida by the National Academy of Plastic Surgeons as well as a “10 Best Plastic Surgeon in Patient Satisfaction” by the American Institute of Plastic Surgeons two years in a row (2019/2020). In addition, his regular contributions to RealSelf.com earned him election into the “RealSelf Hall of Fame” in 2018 after being elected to the “RealSelf Top 500” in 2016 and the “RealSelf” Top 100 in 2017. He was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society in 2018 for his commitment to scholarship, leadership, professionalism, and service. In addition to his accolades, throughout his career Dr. Buchanan has been published in a wide array of textbooks and medical journals on subjects ranging from facial cosmetic surgery and facial aging, to body contouring and breast surgery.
Dr. Buchanan also prides himself on staying up-to-date on the most cutting-edge treatments in plastic surgery and aesthetics. After evaluating a multitude of different technologies, VIVIFY plastic surgery is proud to announce that later this year, they will be offering treatments with the InMode platform including FaceTite, BodyTite, and Morpheus8. InMode is a global leader in developing products that utilize radio-frequency energy technology, penetrating deep into subdermal fat, allowing for adipose tissue remodeling and skin tightening of the face and body. This technology has been clinically proven to reduce treatment time, recovery time, and deliver real results for many of today’s most popular procedures, such as skin tightening, face and body contouring, and ablative skin rejuvenation treatments.
“As plastic surgeons, we must continue to be pioneers in offering new and exciting cosmetic solutions to keep up with the demands of our patients, while also keeping safe and effective outcomes as a top priority. We believe that by introducing InMode in our Tampa office, we will be providing the greater Bay area with not only safer, but more effective minimally invasive and non-invasive treatment options that they won’t be able to find anywhere else.”
