Dr. Dallas Buchanan practices a wide range of cosmetic surgery, including breast surgery, facial cosmetic surgery, and body contouring. In addition to his busy cosmetic surgery, he is also renowned for his skills in reconstructive breast surgery for patients diagnosed with breast cancer. He is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS), and an active member of both the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS), and the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (ASAPS). He is also a fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS).
In 2018, Dr. Buchanan and his wife (Michelle Buchanan, APRN) chose to relocate to Tampa Bay to start their own private practice, VIVIFY plastic surgery. Dr. Buchanan prides himself on having established a patient-centered, customized practice which means taking the time to assess each individual patient and review his or her specific goals and objectives before collaborating together with the patient to create a unique treatment plan to deliver the kind of amazing results for which he has become celebrated. Since starting VIVIFY plastic surgery, Dr. Buchanan has been chosen as a “Top 10 Plastic Surgeon” in Florida by the National Academy of Plastic Surgeons as well as a “10 Best Plastic Surgeon in Patient Satisfaction” by the American Institute of Plastic Surgeons two years in a row (2019/2020). In addition, his regular contributions to RealSelf.com earned him election into the “RealSelf Hall of Fame” in 2018 after being elected to the “RealSelf Top 500” in 2016 and the “RealSelf” Top 100 in 2017. He was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society in 2018 for his commitment to scholarship, leadership, professionalism, and service. In addition to his accolades, throughout his career Dr. Buchanan has been published in a wide array of textbooks and medical journals on subjects ranging from facial cosmetic surgery and facial aging, to body contouring and breast surgery.
