Florida Dental Implants and Oral Surgery

Dr. Barry C. Levine has practiced Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in Tampa, Florida for the last 30 years. He completed his baccalaureate degree in biology at City University of New York, Queens College, where he was elected into Phi Beta Kappa and graduated Magna Cum Laude. He then attended the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, where once again he excelled in his studies. He was elected President of his graduating class and admitted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon.

After completing his dental education, Dr. Levine began a four-year hospital-based surgical and anesthesia training program at Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Bronx Municipal Hospital Center, ultimately becoming chief resident.

He relocated to the Tampa area in 1981 where he set up to practice full-scope Oral and Maxillofacial surgery. His passion centers on orthognathic facial reconstruction, Temporomandibular joint (TMJ) reconstruction, and dental implant reconstruction.

Dr. Levine is a Diplomat of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and holds Fellowships in American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, and American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, among many others. He is also Chief of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Florida Hospital Tampa Division. He has authored many articles, lectured extensively and trained other Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons in cutting edge surgical procedures.

Dr. Levine and his staff bring to the Tampa Bay Area a unique blend of compassion, ability, and knowledge. In his state-of-the-art facility, you will receive uncompromising patient care in an unparalleled setting.

Dr. Mikhail Daya began his dental career in his home country of Venezuela. After finishing dental school, followed by a one-year Oral Surgery externship in Caracas, he made the decision to specialize in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, moving to Florida in 2010 to pursue that goal.

He received his DMD in 2014 after completing the International Dental Program at Nova Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale. He remained at Nova Southeastern for his residency training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery until 2018, providing surgical expertise for an extensive variety of conditions including facial trauma, cleft palate, and cancer reconstruction at two of the largest hospitals in South Florida.

After relocating to St. Louis, Missouri, Dr. Daya took part in a prestigious temporomandibular joint (TMJ) and orthognathic surgery fellowship with Movahed OMS and Mercy Hospital. This fellowship also gave him the opportunity to support the Children for the World health organization, for whom he performed pro bono procedures to repair trauma and restore the oral health for underprivileged kids from across the Western Hemisphere.

Dr. Daya is a board certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon and happily serves the greater Tampa metropolitan area as staff surgeon at Tampa General Hospital, and St. Joseph’s Hospital. He maintains an adjunct faculty position at Nova Southeastern University. He has authored and coauthored multiple publications in peer reviewed journals as well as book chapters within the specialty of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Sleep Apnea. He is multilingual, being fluent in Spanish, English and Arabic. He is also an avid triathlete, looking forward to competing in his first Ironman race in the near future.
