Arthur Baker is the managing attorney of Concord Advantage Legal PLLC, a law office dedicated to helping Florida businesses and property owners efficiently navigate real estate and business issues. His practice is focused on providing value-based and business-oriented solutions in the areas of commercial real estate and transactional business law. A large portion of his practice consists of outside general counsel representations, where he helps businesses implement risk management procedures, provides practical day-to-day advice, and reviews, drafts, and negotiates a wide variety of contracts involved with general business operations.
In addition to his legal practice, he is an adjunct professor at the University of Miami School of Law, teaching “Transactional Skills” with a focus on contracts, negotiations, and how to close a deal.
Before founding Concord Advantage Legal PLLC, he was Vice President & Assistant General Counsel for Savills where he was responsible for helping the management team and real estate professionals of this commercial real estate services company identify and address the diverse business and legal risks associated with its operations around the world. Before that, he was an associate at Baker & Hostetler LLP where he provided counsel to sophisticated clients on all phases of high-stakes real estate transactions, complex real estate development and land use matters, and general business operations.
Since making Tampa home, Baker enjoys giving back to the community whether it be by organizing networking events for in-house attorneys and businesses or by volunteering with After-School All-Stars or JDRF.
Baker received his B.S. in Finance with honors from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and his J.D. summa cum laude and Order of the Coif from the University of Miami School of Law.
