Law Offices of Amy G. Bellhorn, PLLC is a vision realized for Attorney Amy Bellhorn. At 15, she decided to become an attorney as a voice for the injured and the disabled after being involved in a serious accident. She understands exactly what it feels like to be treated by others differently and not having her voice heard, because of an injury. She has a passion and desire to help others as an attorney and treat them with respect, dignity and sincerity. After she earned her Juris Doctor from Stetson University College of Law School in 2000 and then working at a legal non-profit organization and several law firms, she founded her own law firm in 2006 based on these qualities. This is reflected as it was selected as the Best Disability Law Firm in St. Petersburg in 2024 & 2023 by LegalDirectorate.com, recognized with Clients’ Choice Awards in 2021, 2018 & 2017 by Avvo.com and is a Silver Client Champion on Martindale-Hubbell.
She has been honored to have been a member of various legal organizations, on the Board of Directors of several non-profit organizations, served as an Adjunct Professor, and for having received the Martindale-Hubbell AV Preeminent Peer Rating.
She represents people in a variety of areas of law such as: SSD, SSI, Wills & Real Estate. She is also a Florida Supreme Court Certified County, Circuit and Family Mediator.
Besides being a lawyer and mediator, she has a passion for real estate.
