The Law Offices of Amy G. Bellhorn, PLLC is a vision realized for Attorney Amy Bellhorn. At 15, she decided to become an attorney to be a voice for the injured and disabled after being involved in a serious accident. She understands firsthand what it feels like to be treated differently and not have her voice heard because of an injury. Her passion and desire to help others as an attorney are rooted in treating clients with respect, dignity, and sincerity.
After earning her Juris Doctor from Stetson University College of Law in 2000 and gaining experience at a legal nonprofit organization and several law firms, she founded her own firm in 2006 based on these values. That foundation has been recognized: her firm was named Best Disability Law Firm in St. Petersburg in 2023 and 2024 by LegalDirectorate.com, received Clients’ Choice Awards in 2017, 2018, 2021, and 2024 by Avvo.com, and holds a Silver Client Champion distinction on Martindale-Hubbell.
Amy has been honored to serve as a member of various legal organizations, sit on the boards of several nonprofit organizations, and work as an Adjunct Professor. She has received the Martindale-Hubbell AV Preeminent Peer Rating and was recognized by her peers as one of Tampa’s Attorneys of the Year in Tampa Style Magazine (September 2024).
She represents clients in a variety of areas, including Social Security Disability, SSI, Estate Planning, and Real Estate. She is also a Florida Supreme Court Certified County, Circuit, and Family Mediator.
In addition to her legal and mediation work, Amy is passionate about helping people fulfill their real estate dreams. She is a Florida Real Estate Sales Associate with EXIT Suncoast Realty in St. Petersburg—a full-service, professional real estate office that puts people first, gives back to the community, and provides excellent service.
