Wolf Elder Law, P.A.

Amanda M. Wolf is honored to have been selected as one of Tampa’s Attorneys of the Year. She feels extremely fortunate to be recognized for doing what she loves. A Florida Bar Board-Certified Elder Law Attorney, Amanda has dedicated the last 17 years of her legal career to helping seniors and their families navigate a variety of complex issues. Through her work, she is able to make a meaningful difference in her clients’ lives. With a primary office in Tampa and a satellite office in Pinellas County, Amanda spends her time meeting with clients to review their specific needs and designing and implementing a plan that will best meet their retirement and healthcare needs, living arrangement objectives, end-of-life wishes, and legacy goals. Her services include creating estate plans; helping her clients understand and navigate long-term care Medicaid benefits; planning for the maximization of public benefits; preparing for a move to a retirement community or nursing home; and guiding clients through sensitive and important end-of-life issues, such as financial powers of attorney, healthcare surrogate designations, probate, wills, trusts, and estates.

A Pennsylvania native, Amanda graduated from Grove City College with a B.S. in Accounting and then attended the University of Pittsburgh School of Law. While she enjoyed the field of accounting, she quickly found that she derived greater satisfaction from being able to use her skills to assist seniors who were trying to navigate the complexities of retirement, estate planning, home care, assisted living and nursing home Medicaid benefits, and end-of-life planning, which can be difficult, and which often require a very specialized set of knowledge and skills.

Amanda is extremely well-established in her field. Amanda has been Board Certified in Elder Law by the Florida bar for over 10 years. She received the Tampa Bay Young Legal Professional of the Year award by the South Tampa Chamber of Commerce and has been recognized as a Superlawyer in Elder Law for the past 5 years. She has previously served as Co-Chair of the Medicaid and Benefits section of the Florida Bar Elder Law Section and was a Board member of the Academy of Florida Elder Law Attorneys. Her practice consists of Estate Planning, Elder Law, Wills, Trusts, Probate, Incapacity Planning, and Medicaid Qualification.

Amanda is devoted to helping seniors and their families ensure that they receive the services and support they need while remaining independent for as long as possible. She enjoys sharing her expertise in order to help her clients understand their long-term care and estate-planning options and to help them develop a plan so they feel confident that they have made sound decisions for their future and for the future of their loved ones.
